Hello and Welcome!!
My name is Teresa Hunt. I am a student at the University of Central Florida in the Nurse Educator track. I'm planning to graduate in August 2014 with the master’s degree. I am planning on going to Clemson University to get my PhD in Healthcare Genetics.
I have been a nurse for 5 years having obtaining my RN from the Community College of Rhode Island. Within my career as an RN have gained experience in Pediatric Intensive Care, Corrections (Prisons and Jails), Traveling in Adult Med-Surg/Pediatrics/Maternity. I now have a permanent job in Pediatric Trauma Emergency Room. At this time, I have up-to-date PALS, BLS, ACLS and NRP.
I am truly looking forward to working with students within the nursing programs. I enjoy teaching others all aspects of the nursing profession. I hope to be able to prepare new nurses to take on the dynamic environment that nurses work within and how to handle the challenges they will face on a daily bases.
